Observation Class 2: FCAEF Flight Class

Thank you for your patience, during this new transition for FCAEF Flight Class. As of 2023, we have introduced two classes running simultaneously in order to open up more spots for our waitlist. Class 2 serves ages 8 - 12. Welcome to FCAEF! This opportunity to observe an FCAEF Flight Class, is the first step towards becoming an FCAEF student in our program. FCAEF Flight Observation Classes are coordinated with our airport flight classes to give new students a live experience of what to expect as a student in our program. For this class, we ask that parents/guardians remain in the class from beginning to end to also observe. Upon completion of this class, students and parents/guardians will have the opportunity to determine whether they are still interested. FCAEF Calendars run all year long with consideration to US holidays and local school district calendar breaks. We meet on Saturdays, rotating between virtual meetings and in-person meetings at the airport. Occasional weekday events are scheduled throughout the year, but are not mandatory. To apply, you must meet the following criteria: be between ages 8 - 12; agree to be timely, respectful, and responsible; adhere to the attendance, grades, and behavior policy. Once student has completed ground and flight class, and wants to continue in our program, parents/guardians may return to the check-in desk to request registration forms to complete. Once registration is complete, students will have access to other programs being developed at the moment, such as our Drone Program and Maintenance Program. Upon completing registration documents, each student will receive: log book, FCAEF Flight bag, FCAEF T-shirt, notebook, and pen; along with other resources throughout the year. Once you have attended the observation class, you will have up to 30 days to complete registration documents and payments. After 30 days, the student will have to reapply.
