Fly Compton Couture is a one-of-a-kind S.T.E.A.M. summer camp where youth design tech-enhanced flight suits and wearable aerospace gear. Hosted at CSUDH, this program blends fashion, engineering, and innovation to inspire the next generation of creators and aviators.

Lucas first joined Fly Compton almost three years ago. Like many students, his journey started with curiosity. He didn’t know much about aviation, but he had questions—and a drive to learn.

This month, participants were treated to something special: the launch of the Torqued Up Workshop—a five-station immersive experience designed to teach students the mechanics behind the aircraft they dream of flying.
